Bharatpur : A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Dantlouthi village of Januthar police station area of Deeg district. Where a 13 month old child died a painful death after getting burnt by boiling milk. The incident occurred on November 3, the day of Bhai Dooj, when the child was playing in the courtyard of his house and boiling milk kept on a stove fell on him. He lost his life last night.
Milk was being heated on fire for Mawa.
According to the child’s grandfather Manhori, all the family members were in the courtyard of the house at 10 am that day. 5 kg milk was being heated on a stove, from which mawa was to be prepared. While playing, 13 month old child Karthik reached near the stove and hit the pan. On this the pan overturned and boiling milk fell on the child. Due to this, the child suffered 90 percent burns and his condition became critical.
The entire body of the innocent child was burnt, only the mouth was left.
The family immediately took the child to Kumher Hospital, from where he was referred to RBM Hospital in Bharatpur. During treatment in the hospital, most of the child’s body was burnt, only his mouth was left. After two days of treatment in the burn ward, seeing the condition of the child, the doctors referred him to a private hospital in Jaipur.
The tragic incident plunged the family into deep sorrow.
Doctor KD Sharma of the Burn Ward of RBM Hospital said that the child’s fever was continuously increasing and his condition had become very serious due to burns on large parts of the body. While going to Jaipur, the child died on the way. Karthik’s father Krishna works in a private job and apart from him there is also another 3 year old brother in the family. This painful incident has plunged the family into deep sorrow.
