Sirohi : A horrific road accident took place on Sunday night in Pindwara police station area of Sirohi district of Rajasthan. A truck and a Toofan taxi collided near Kantal at around 8:20 pm, in which 8 people died and 15 others were seriously injured, out of which the condition of 10 people is said to be critical. Let us tell you that all the people were returning to their home after visiting the Nadol temple in Pali district, when the tragic accident happened on the way.
The extent of the accident can be gauged from the fact that the taxi was completely shattered. Many people were trapped inside it. They were pulled out with the help of local people after a lot of effort in the beginning. As soon as the information about the accident was received, Pindwara’s CO Bhavarlal Chaudhary, Thanadhikari Hamirsingh Bhati and other police officers reached the spot and took stock of the situation. They referred the seriously injured people to the district hospital. The deceased also include two children and two women. All the deceased and injured are said to be residents of Gogunda and Jhadol of Udaipur district.
Police started investigating the matter
According to the information, the injured people are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital and information about their further condition will be received in some time. The police have started investigating the case and the causes of the accident are being investigated.
Accident on National Highway of Tonk district last night
Earlier last night, a Bolero car collided with a divider on the National Highway in Tonk district, in which 2 people died. While 3 people were injured. They were referred to Jaipur for better treatment. The victims of the accident were from Madhya Pradesh, who were returning from Ajmer after attending a family function.
