Nagaur : An elderly couple living in Nagaur city committed suicide in their own house. This incident has shaken the entire area. Preliminary investigation has revealed that there was a family feud and property dispute going on between the couple, due to which they took this step. The deceased couple has been identified as Hazari Ram (70) and his wife Chawli (68). Both were living alone at their home for the last few days. When neighbors saw them not coming out of the house, they informed the couple’s son. On receiving information from the son, the police reached the spot and found the bodies of both of them in a tank filled with water inside the house. Serious allegations in suicide note

Police investigation ongoing: Seeing the seriousness of the incident, Superintendent of Police Narayan Togas and other police officers reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Police have sent the couple’s bodies for postmortem and have also seized the suicide note. The police are investigating all aspects thoroughly and are expected to crack the case soon.

Police said that the colony where the couple lived is a posh colony. There is also a good amount of money for the house. But the way they had pasted posters in the rooms, in which it was written about being troubled by the son, daughter-in-law and relatives, it is being estimated that the husband and wife were very upset. SP Narayan Togas said that suicide cases are very common at this age. It looks like the couple was in serious trouble. At present discussions are being held with the family members regarding this matter.
