Alwar : the news is from Alwar district of Rajasthan. A horrific road accident took place last night on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway passing through Alwar. More than half of the family has died in the accident. It is being told that the family was from Haryana and was coming towards Mehndipur in Dausa to have darshan of Balaji. During this time, the driver could not see the pit dug for maintenance on the expressway. The car fell into it and overturned several times. Three people in the car died. The accident happened near Bhaidoli around ten o’clock in the night.
Police reached the spot and said that sixty year old Vidyanand, a resident of Narnaul, was traveling in a car with his family. The entire family had eaten dinner at the dhaba shortly before the car overturned and after that the family left for further journey. During this time, when the car passed through the expressway, the driver did not see the pothole. It is being told that the barricades that were installed for safety from the pit were kept far away. This is why this accident has come to light.
Vidyanand, his 30 year old son Shubham and daughter Sonika Yadav died in the accident. The condition of his wife Santosh Devi and six-year-old child Karav is critical. The driver driving the car has also been admitted to the hospital. After this accident that happened late at night, the bodies of the deceased have been kept in the mortuary of Raini Hospital. The car has also been completely shattered.
