Jaipur : the news is from Dausa district of Rajasthan. Where a tragic incident took place in the Kalakoh Dam, which was completely filled after 19 years. Abhishek Meena, 19, a resident of Gothra village, drowned in the dam. This incident has shaken not only his family but also the entire area. When this incident happened, Abhishek’s uncle and father were there and the father was making a reel of Abhishek from his mobile.
Father and uncle had made a video before death
Abhishek was born in 2005. When the dam was filled for the first time. At the time of the incident, Abhishek was swimming with the help of the tractor tube, when suddenly he slipped from the tube and went into deep water. His uncle Ratanlal, father Ramesh and cousin Mintu were on the dam sail and made a video of Abhishek, which has now become a keepsake.
Mourning came on the same dam where happiness was celebrated
Father Ramesh and his family are now in a bad condition, crying. The father said that the son was born in the year when the dam was completely filled. We celebrated by coming to the dam. Now after 19 years the dam is full. The son was having fun here. But he lost his life in front of us. Abhishek was a first year BA student at Dausa College. He drowned in water yesterday afternoon around 4 o’clock and his body was recovered last night.
Papa and uncle kept screaming, but no one was there to listen.
After the incident, SDRF team reached the spot and after a 5-hour search operation, Abhishek’s body was taken out from a depth of 30 feet. After postmortem the body was handed over to the family. Abhishek’s younger brother Amit and mother Chameli Devi are in bad condition and crying. Uncle Ratanlal told that Abhishek did not know how to swim and he drowned after going into deep water. He tried to shout for help, but no one was around. Even we couldn’t help him.
