Horrific accident in Rajasthan, a young man is hunted by a panther, panic prevails

Udaipur : A panther attacked a villager near Gopa Mata pond near Bichiwada village in Phalasia police station area of ​​Udaipur district on Sunday morning. The rural couple had gone to the forest to collect Mahua and wood as usual. There is panic among the villagers after the incident. According to the villagers, Laxmilal Bhat (55), a resident of Bichiwada, had gone with his wife to collect Mahua and wood from the forest near Gopa Mata pond. After some time, his wife returned home after collecting wood. Here, Laxmilal was collecting Mahua in the forest itself. Meanwhile, a panther attacked him. Due to which he died. When he did not return home even after a long time, his wife, fearing something untoward, returned to the forest and started searching for her husband.

After searching for a long time, blood marks were seen in the forest. She assumed that her husband had been attacked by some wild animal. She somehow reached home and informed the family. The family and villagers went to the forest to search for Laxmilal. They saw a panther sitting among the bushes, which had scratched Laxmilal at several places. Seeing the villagers, the panther ran away towards the forest.

Police and forest department team reached the spot

On receiving the information, ASI Ishwarlal along with Japta and forest guards Rajendra Kumar, Krishna Kasauta, Piyush Kumar, forest check post in-charge Prabhulal Meena etc. from Phalasia police station reached the spot. Panchnama was prepared and the body was taken to Jhardol CHC for postmortem. After postmortem, the body was handed over to the family. Here, Ranger Dilip Gurjar said that the movement of the panther has not been seen since the incident. That is why a cage was not set up to catch the panther. The search for the panther is on. Meanwhile, Deputy Forest Conservator Mukesh Saini said that the staff has been alerted on the information of the death of the villager due to panther attack. The team is keeping an eye there. The villagers have also been asked to be cautious.
