Dungarpur : Questions keep being raised on the health system in India every day. Earlier people used to get trapped in the clutches of quack doctors. But now the method of fraud has become quite advanced. Now, not only fake doctors, but fake hospitals have started opening. One such hospital was recently disclosed by the Dungarpur Health Department. After receiving several complaints about a hospital, when the health officials inspected there, they were surprised. A private hospital was opened in a building near Dungarpur District Hospital. Many patients were admitted in this hospital running in the name of Shri Ram Chikitsalaya. Especially two pregnant women were admitted inside waiting for delivery. When the team went inside and investigated, they found that there were many irregularities. There was no doctor inside. The entire hospital was running on staff. After this the team seized the hospital.
Not a single doctor was found
ACMHO Dr. Vipin Meena told about the investigation that he had received complaints about this hospital many times. When investigation was done, it was found that pregnant women had been admitted to the hospital for delivery but there was not a single gynecologist there. Nor was there any doctor present inside. Because of this the hospital has been seized.
Even the staff were not trained
The staff hired by the hospital were looking after all the work of the hospital. However, investigation revealed that they too were working without training. Investigation revealed that Dr. Jignesh Damor, registered with Shri Ram Hospital, is an MBBS holder. For this reason, the hospital was registered only for day-care (OPD). But she also started the delivery in the hospital. But for this, no MoU was made with any specialist gynecologist. There, only staff without training were making the deliveries.
