Jaipur : Rajasthan Housing Board Employees Union officials handed over a memorandum to UDH Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra demanding cancellation of leases issued by Kota Municipal Corporation and auction conducted by Heritage Municipal Corporation Jaipur
The officials of Rajasthan Housing Board Employees Union met UDH Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra on Tuesday and demanded to stop the misuse of the board’s land. The officials, who went under the leadership of Rajasthan Housing Board Employees Union’s provincial president Dashrath Kumar, said that the valuable land worth crores of rupees belonging to the board was sold in Kota Municipal Corporation and Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage.
Dashrath Kumar informed that by giving a memorandum to Minister Kharra, he told that during the Administration with Cities campaign in the previous government, the Kota South Municipal Corporation hastily issued a lease of 1175 sq. yard land located in Sector 7 of Mahavir Nagar Third in Kota, whereas the ownership of this land belongs to the Housing Board. Similarly, the Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage also auctioned 1600 sq. yard land located in Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur on 13 June last month. This land belongs to the Housing Board on record and the Board administration has the ownership right over it.
The state general secretary of the association, Pradeep Sharma, said that in the previous government, many valuable lands of the division were hastily auctioned and ruined. Due to this, the board administration suffered a huge revenue loss. The general secretary has demanded from Minister Kharra to cancel the lease issued by Kota Municipal Corporation and the auction done by Municipal Corporation Heritage.
