Bharatpur News Desk: Under the banner of Awasheen Jan Sangharsh Samiti, a large number of homeless men and women staged a protest at the Collectorate gate demanding housing. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Comrade Naththi Lal said that it is a matter of great regret that there are thousands of people in Bharatpur city who have been living on rent for the last 50 years. They neither have their own land nor a house to live in this independent India. In this era of inflation where it is difficult to survive and there is severe unemployment, it is also becoming difficult to pay house rent.
During the four and a half years of this movement, Dr. Subhash Garg, who was a minister in the previous government, wasted two and a half years of time by giving false assurance of solving the problem, due to which the movement came to a standstill. During this protest, inflation and unemployment were mentioned. Now the movement is being started again from the beginning and will be continued until a solution is found. The said demonstration was led by Nathilal, Kalua, Bhagwandas, Ashok Kapoor, Bhikam Chand, Najma, Guddi Vano, Poonam, Mukesh, Babita Singh etc.
