Rajasthan News Desk !!! Ravindra Kaushik was born in 1952 in a Punjabi family in Ganganagar, Rajasthan. Ravindra Kaushik was fond of acting since childhood. Ravindra Kaushik participated in the national drama presentation during his graduation in 1975. During this time, India’s intelligence agency RAW noticed Ravindra Kaushik. Ravindra Kaushik also wanted to serve the country, so after completing graduation, he joined the intelligence agency RAW.
The intelligence agency RAW wanted to send Ravindra Kaushik to Pakistan, so RAW taught Ravindra Kaushik to read and speak Urdu. He was told about the religious texts and places of Pakistan. When Ravindra Kaushik was fully prepared, he was sent to Pakistan as Nabi Ahmed Shakir. After reaching Pakistan, Ravindra Kaushik took admission in Karachi Law College and obtained a bachelor’s degree in law. After completing his studies, Ravindra Kaushik joined the Pakistani Army. During his stay in Pakistan, Ravindra Kaushik fell in love with a Pakistani girl Amanat. Ravindra Kaushik married Amanat and they have a daughter. On the other hand, Ravindra Kaushik became a Major in the Pakistani Army. Between 1979 and 1983, Ravindra Kaushik sent a lot of intelligence information from Pakistan to the Indian intelligence agency RAW. This helped India a lot.
Due to his excellent work, Ravindra Kaushik became known as Black Tiger in the Indian intelligence agency. This name was given to Ravindra Kaushik by the Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. The way Ravindra Kaushik was progressing in the Pakistani army, it was expected that one day he could become the head of the Pakistani army. However, due to a mistake in 1983, Ravindra Kaushik’s secret was revealed in Pakistan. Actually, in 1983, the Indian intelligence agency RAW had sent another spy to Pakistan to help Ravindra Kaushik, but he was caught by the Pakistani intelligence agency. During interrogation, he revealed Ravindra Kaushik’s identity to the Pakistani intelligence agency.
After this, the Pakistani intelligence agency arrested Ravindra Kaushik and tortured him for two years. During this time, Ravindra Kaushik was also lured that if he made public the confidential information related to the Indian government, he would be released, but Ravindra Kaushik refused. After this, in the year 1985, Ravindra Kaushik was sentenced to death by the Pakistani court, which was later changed to life imprisonment. After his arrest, Ravindra Kaushik spent 16 years of his life in different jails. Ultimately, Ravindra Kaushik died in 2001 due to TB and heart attack.
Even today, Ravindra Kaushik’s name comes first among the best intelligence officers of the Indian intelligence agency RAW. He is a brave son of Mother India. Ravindra Kaushik sacrificed his entire life for the country. He lives for the country and dies for the country.’ It is believed that Salman Khan’s film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ was inspired by Ravindra Kaushik’s life.
