Jodhpur News Desk: Even though the deadlock that was going on for 21 days in the case of murder of a female beautician and dismemberment of her body in Jodhpur has been resolved and the family has got the body cremated, the police is yet to receive the statement of the family. Couldn’t take it. The family members are not even getting their statements recorded in the hope of CBI investigation. According to the police, the deceased Anita Chaudhary, resident of Sardarpura First B Road, was cremated at Siwanchi Gate cremation ground on Tuesday evening on the 21st. Immediately after, the police requested the deceased’s husband Manmohan Chaudhary and son to record their statement in the case, but both of them refused. He told the police that now he will get his statement recorded before the CBI. In such a situation the police returned. The family has not yet got the beauty parlor shop and house of the deceased searched.
On the other hand, the police made efforts again on Wednesday to record the statement. Calls were made to the deceased’s husband, but he did not respond. Then the police reached the deceased’s house with another notice, but the husband and son were not found there. In such a situation, the police again had to return empty handed. Since the government had assured investigation by CBI before the end of the protest, the family members are now relying on investigation by CBI. While the investigation is still with the police. The main accused Ghulamuddin is on remand.
Investigation till now…killing for robbery is not acceptable
In the police investigation so far, Gangana resident Ghulamuddin Farooqui has confessed to murdering Anita by calling her to his house to rob her of gold jewellery. This reason is not acceptable to the police officers. Different police officers have interrogated him, but no other reason has been revealed.
All three including businessman refuse polygraph test
The police had applied to the court to get polygraph test done on the main accused Ghulamuddin, the deceased’s friend Sunita alias Suman and the businessman. A hearing on this was held on Wednesday. At present, all three have refused to undergo polygraph through their lawyer.
