Jhalawar : A sensational case has come to light of two minor girls being kidnapped from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and sold in Ghatoli, Jhalawar. However, in the entire case, Madhya Pradesh Police has conducted a raid in Ghatoli of Jhalawar district and recovered both the minor girls and arrested the accused who bought them from Ghatoli. At the same time, the police has also arrested two women from Madhya Pradesh who sold the girls, and the absconding couple Sunita and Ram Singh Thakur are also being searched by the Madhya Pradesh Police. The couple is accused of selling both the girls for Rs 1 lakh 55 thousand.
A girl was found locked in a room
Both the girls are residents of Bagh Mughalia area of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, after whose disappearance, a report was submitted to the police by their family members. Acting on this report, Bhopal Police raided Ghatoli in Jhalawar district on the basis of mobile tower location and recovered a girl who was kept locked in a room. The other girl had already escaped from the clutches of the accused, who was also later recovered by the police. Bhopal Police arrested Durga Lal Lodha, resident of Kelkhoira Road, Ghatoli, on charges of kidnapping and physical exploitation and took him with them. During interrogation, the minor told the police that Durgalal Lodha, resident of Kelkhoira Road, Ghatoli, Jhalawar district, locked her in the house and beat her and forcibly sexually exploited her and she was brought to Durga Lal by Bhopal resident women Najma and Sangeeta Hirve. Police arrested accused Najma Khan alias Ruby and Sangeeta Hirve from Bhopal on the information given by the kidnapped girl and Durgalal Lodha.
Kidnapped on the pretext of going to Indore
According to the information received from the police, both the minor girls from Bhopal wanted to go to Indore to attend a friend’s wedding on 26 June. But when their family refused, both of them left the house in anger without informing anyone. Najma Khan alias Ruby, wife of Ramanand Kamat (31), resident of Gaurishankar Complex, Katara Hills, Sangeeta Hirve, wife of Raju Hirve (34), resident of Bagh Mugalia and Sunita Thakur and her husband Ram Singh Thakur kidnapped the girls by luring them to go to Indore for a wedding and took them to Jhalawar, Rajasthan, where the accused sold both the girls to Durgalal for Rs 1 lakh 55 thousand.
Two accused are still absconding
Giving information about the case, Ghatoli police station officer Ramkaran said that four days ago, a police team from Madhya Pradesh reached Ghatoli, which was provided help by Ghatoli police and Madhya Pradesh police arrested Durga Lal Lodha, 22 years old, resident of Kelkhoira Road, Ghatoli and recovered a minor girl from his possession and took her with him. According to the information received from Bhopal police, the important role of the couple Sunita Thakur and her husband Ram Singh Thakur, residents of Lambakheda, Madhya Pradesh, has come to light in selling the minor girls. Both are absconding and are being searched vigorously by the police.
