Banswara : A video is going viral on social media in Banswara district, in which two youths are seen dragging a python tied to a bike. This incident has created a stir in the forest department. Based on the number of the bike seen in the video, the Forest Department has started investigation, although it is not yet confirmed whether the incident took place in Banswara district or not.
Forest department took action against the accused
In the last few days, incidents of pythons entering settlements have come to light. On receiving information that a python was found in Bagidaura area on Friday, Ranger Suresh Garasia’s team successfully rescued it and released it safely into the forest. Similarly, in Banswara city also, wildlife lovers caught a python and released it in the forest. A video was also made during the rescue.

Deputy Forest Conservator Jignesh Sharma said that in such cases, Forest Department teams take immediate action and release the python at a safe place. He clarified that no forest worker can do such inhuman acts. The height and physique of the youth seen in the video does not match with the local people. Once the investigation is completed in this case, action will be taken under the Wildlife Act. Forest department officials are taking this matter seriously and are trying to confirm the truth of the matter. The video is becoming increasingly viral on social media and users are continuously commenting against these bike riders.
