Nagaur : Two passengers got off the Jaipur-Suratgarh train at Deshwal station after throwing their mobile phones after having a fight with their wives. Later, in order to get back on the train, both of them stopped the Barmer-Rishikesh train by standing on the track and waving a red cloth. RPF has registered a case under various sections including obstruction in train operation and arrested Bikaner residents Mohammad Ali and Mohammad Zafar.
Stopped the train and hid in the general coach
According to the information, Bikaner resident Zafar Ali was travelling with his wife in Jaipur- Suratgarh train. Bikaner resident Mohammad Ali was also with them. Zafar Ali and his wife had a quarrel over something and Zafar Ali threw his and his wife’s mobile out of the train in a fit of rage between Merta Road-Deshwal. When the train stopped at Deshwal station, Zafar Ali and Mohammad Ali got down and started looking for the mobile between Deshwal-Chapri, but they could not find the mobile. At around 2.30 pm, Barmer-Rishikesh train was passing between Chapri-Deshwal on Merta Road-Nagaur railway line. During this time, both of them stood on the track holding a red cloth. Knowing the possibility of an accident, the loco pilot stopped the train. When the train stopped, both of them sat in the general coach. The loco pilot and the train manager informed Jodhpur control room and RPF.

On receiving the information, RPF sub-inspector Ramesh Chaudhary reached Nagaur railway station with his team. On the basis of identification, Zafar Ali and Mohammad Ali, who were hiding in the general coach, were arrested and a case was registered against them under various sections including stopping the train without reason, obstructing rail operations, etc. They were released on bail after being ordered to appear in the railway court. The matter is being investigated thoroughly.
