Nagaur : In Bhavad village of Sadar police station area, a wife lost her life in a quarrel between a couple on Monday night. Police arrested the accused husband and handed over the body to the family after conducting the post-mortem of the deceased. According to Sadar police station, there was an argument between Bhavad resident Mehram Prajapat and his wife Samu daughter Bhomaram on Monday night over some issue. When the dispute escalated, husband Mehram hit Samu on the head with an iron rod, causing serious head injury. After which people took Samu to JLN Hospital in critical condition, where the doctor declared Samu dead. On receiving information about the incident, police officials reached the spot late at night and inspected the spot. On Tuesday morning, the post-mortem of the body was conducted in the presence of the deceased’s maternal side. Police have arrested the accused husband on charges of murder.
The accused also tried to kill the children
The deceased’s brother Anoop said that the accused brother-in-law also attacked his children with an iron rod. Mehram has three children, one of whom was a girl at her maternal grandmother’s house in Madpura, while the other two were with their parents in Bhavad. During the fight, the accused broke Samu’s head by hitting her with an iron rod, and also hit the children with an iron rod. The brother alleged that four other people are also accused in the murder case.
