Husband narrated shameful story of his wife, know judge’s decision on this

Jaipur : Jaipur Family Court in an important decision rejected the petition filed for maintenance from the husband. This case was about a wife demanding maintenance from her husband, who had maintained a love affair with another man even after marriage. Judge Virendra Kumar Jasuja, while giving the verdict in this case, said that the wife’s illicit relationship with another man after marriage does not become a basis for permanent maintenance.

The wife wanted 40 lakh rupees and 30 tolas of gold

The woman had demanded 40 lakh rupees and 30 tolas of gold in the court. She said that her husband is employed in the telecommunications department and she should be given permanent maintenance. However, the husband proved in the court that the wife had a love affair with a young man from the neighborhood even before marriage and this relationship continued even after marriage. On this basis, the court considered the husband a victim of mental cruelty and ordered divorce in 2019.

The husband had narrated his painful story to the court

The husband clarified his position and said that he is a clerk and his responsibilities include the son of his late wife and her ailing mother. In such a situation, he is unable to provide permanent maintenance. The court rejected the woman’s appeal after considering the husband’s arguments. This decision has once again highlighted the seriousness of post-marriage relationships from a legal point of view.
