According to the information received, a case of objectionable comment on social media against BJP MLA Gurveer Brar of Sadulshahar assembly constituency of Sri Ganganagar district has come to light, after which the police took action and arrested a youth.
SP gave information about the case
Sri Ganganagar SP Gaurav Yadav said that a case has come to light in which a youth wrote objectionable words on Facebook against Sadulshahar MLA Gurveer Singh Barar. He said that Amritpal Singh, a resident of village 4B Badi Pakki of Sadulshahar, had lodged a complaint.

According to the case, when Amritpal Singh checked his Facebook account, he saw that Sudhir Bishnoi alias Sudhir Ghazi, a resident of Rohidawali village, had made derogatory comments against MLA Gurveer Brar. Sudhir wrote in his post, “Gurveer Brar will fill your pots, I will make you a martyr MLA of BJP, did you leave your sports equipment behind.”
Police arrested the accused youth
Taking action on this matter, Hindumalkot police station registered a case on the report of Amritpal Singh and arrested the accused Sudhir Bishnoi from his village Rohidawali on charges of disturbing peace under section 170 BNS. The investigation of this case has been handed over to ASI Gurdev Singh.

ASI Gurdev Singh said that the matter is being investigated thoroughly and the accused youth will be arrested separately in the registered case. He said that at present this matter seems to be politically motivated. Let us tell you that after such comments on Facebook against Gurveer Singh Brar, a lot of anger is being seen among his supporters too.
