Nagaur : Identification parade of Keshav alias Golu, accused of murder of betel nut killer Sandeep alias Shetty, will be held on 26th November. He will be shifted to Ajmer High Security Jail the next day after the identification parade. Here, the next hearing of the case will be held on December 9. According to sources, complainant Sanjay Panghal will identify on behalf of Sandeep alias Shetty. FIR regarding the murder was also lodged by Sanjay Panghal. Sanjay was also with Sandeep alias Shetty during the incident. Efforts were going on for many days to identify Keshav alias Golu, but its date was decided only after the Khinvsar by-election and now the results. It is noteworthy that in this regard, not only the police but also the jail administration was trying to identify Keshav alias Golu as soon as possible.
Sources reveal that after Keshav alias Golu, it is Anil alias Chhotiya whom the police has to catch. Anil is considered to be the mastermind of this murder. After arresting most of the accused, Nagaur police searched a lot in search of him but till now he has not been caught. It is said that Anil alias Chhotiya does not keep a mobile. Also, he does not stay at any one place for long. Within a few days he changes his location. Along with Delhi/Haryana, Nagaur Police has also declared a reward on him. This murder took place in September 2022, since then Anil alias Chhotiya is absconding.
Four granted bail, next hearing on 9th
About a dozen accused were arrested in this case. Among them, Naveen, Praveen, Bajrang and Sandeep have been granted bail. However, these four were not in Nagaur during the incident. While Bajrang was accused of giving shelter to the accused, it was revealed that the main accused Pandit had purchased a new bike through Naveen’s Aadhar card. Advocate Thakur Prasad Rathi, who is appearing on behalf of accused Deepak alias Deepti and others, said that till now all four have been granted bail. The next hearing is on December 9. There has not been a single testimony yet.
Keshav alias Golu, currently lodged in Nagaur jail, has 17 criminal cases against him. On the day of the incident, he too had to fire bullets at Sandeep alias Shetty, but due to nervousness, he could not fire at the last moment. Here, four accused including Deepak alias Deepti fired bullets and ran away but Keshav was left alone here. The accused had to reach their respective places through different routes, Keshav alias Golu himself does not know which bus he boarded after the incident but he took a roadways bus and reached Jodhpur and then kept passing time here and there intermittently. After several months, he reached his home where Faridabad Police arrested him in some case and sent him to jail. Since then he spent about a year in jail. The police here kept trying to arrest him on production warrant but it did not happen. Finally, a fortnight ago the UP Police itself brought him here.
