Be it Uttar Pradesh or Haryana, he has fought for the rights of the poor with complete honesty. He came to Gurgaon during the Lok Sabha elections, and in just 20 days he shook all the forts. Once again Congress has sent him here as a star campaigner. He has addressed more than 20 rallies here and has worked to spread the ideology of Congress among the people and connect them with the party.
‘The face of BJP leaders has lost its shine’
Earlier, while addressing a public meeting in Yamunanagar, Pilot had said, ‘The BJP leaders who used to give long speeches have lost their glow. He has come to power in Delhi with support. When Rahul Gandhi demands answers and challenges the government, he has no answer. We have guaranteed education, health, security and employment to women, children, farmers. Our traditions are of peace, brotherhood and love. But BJP has done the work of making brother fight with brother for its own benefit. He says in his speeches that if Congress forms the government in Delhi, they will snatch your mangalsutra, snatch your buffalo, snatch your house. Hey brother! Who is snatching whom? You took away the rights of the farmer. You closed small industries by demonetization. Even after running the BJP government for 10 years, Pandits still blame Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. Show the report card of what you did in 10 years.
‘The bigger the majority, the more power the MLA gets’
While addressing a public meeting in Samalkha on October 1, Pilot had said, ‘The main contest is between BJP and Congress. Many people are contesting elections. I request you to cast your vote where it matters, the vote which leads to development, the vote which leads to governance, so that you can talk about getting all your incomplete works done. We will do the work you want. Youth will get jobs, farmers will get the right price for their crops and women will be safe. But if you remain divided, do not vote, get misled, greedy or scared, you will be harmed. Every vote is valuable in democracy. I am sure that the Congress government is going to win in Haryana with three-fourth majority. Just see how many votes she is going to win. If the public wins, the more votes it will give, the more power the MLA of the Congress party will get.
