If name is not removed voluntarily in Karoli scheme then recovery will be done

Karauli : Gip Up campaign has been started to voluntarily remove the names of the capable persons availing the benefits of National Food Security Scheme. Under the campaign, action will be taken by the department if the names are not removed by the competent persons (family). District Logistics Officer Devraj Ravi said that capable people should voluntarily give up the benefits of the scheme. The State Government is running a ‘Gip Up’ campaign to get the competent persons selected in the National Food Security Scheme to voluntarily remove their names from the scheme. If the competent persons do not remove their names during this campaign which will run till 31 January 2025, action will be taken against them. To voluntarily remove the names of competent persons selected in the scheme, a ‘Gip Up’ campaign has been launched by the Food and Civil Supplies Department.

The objective of the campaign is to identify ineligible persons and extend the benefits of the scheme to all eligible persons. Under the campaign, income tax payers and four-wheeler owners can get their names removed from the scheme. Government employees or other competent persons can go to the fair price shopkeeper of their area and fill the prescribed form and get their name removed from the scheme. This name deletion form is available at all fair price shops in the district. Action will be taken against ineligible or capable persons who do not get their names removed by January 31. The market rate for the food grains taken by such persons will be recovered from them.
