Patna, November 28 (IANS). Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav has accused the Bihar government and said that the government does not want to debate the issue of ‘smart meter’. People are facing problems due to ‘smart meters’. Let us tell you that opposition members protested in the Assembly regarding ‘Smart Meter’.
Tejashwi Yadav has said that because of ‘smart meter’ people are getting higher bills. The most expensive electricity in the entire country is available in Bihar. If our government is formed in 2025, 200 units of electricity will be provided free of cost. Also, electricity bill will be waived.
Tejashwi also mentioned about those rebel RJD MLAs in the Assembly who are sitting on the seats of ministers. Tejashwi has said that there is a seating arrangement in the assembly. But, the rebel RJD MLAs are sitting as per their wish. If seen, even today he is an MLA of RJD and we are the leaders of Indi Alliance. He should sit where the opposition party leaders sit. We respect the Speaker of the Assembly a lot and we are sure that he will look into these things.
Tejashwi has said that a demand has been made to the Speaker to take action against the rebel MLAs. But no action has been taken till now. Rebel MLAs are sitting in the ruling party. If it continues like this then someone will go and sit on the Chief Minister’s chair. Everyone is allotted a seat in the assembly.
The Assembly Speaker has said that seats have been allotted to the rebel MLAs of RJD. But, the party will decide where the rebel RJD MLAs will sit, because they are still MLAs of the party. Therefore, we have demanded from the Speaker to cancel the membership of the rebel MLAs.
