Jhunjhunu : Jhunjhunu Players are not getting reservation in the Teacher Eligibility Test (REET), whereas in the same examination other categories are being given reservation as per rules. Thousands of players of the state are suffering losses due to not giving reservation. This time too, more than ten lakh boys and girls are likely to appear in REET, which is one of the biggest examinations of Rajasthan. It is no longer mandatory for the youth who have passed REET last time to take the exam. The government had already extended the validity of REIT. There is a quota for ST, OBC, SC, widow, divorcee, ex-serviceman in REET, but national and international level players playing for Rajasthan are not being given separate quota. Whereas there is a provision of two percent reservation for players in other government jobs.
REET was held in the year 2022
Earlier this REET was conducted on 23rd and 24th July 2022. The preliminary answer key was released on 19 August 2022 and the objection period ended on 25 August 2022. The result was also announced on 29 September the same year. Maximum youth appeared in this examination from Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur, Alwar and Kota. This time also there is a possibility that most of the candidates will be from Shekhawati and Alwar. It is noteworthy that students who qualify REET will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment examination level one and level two. This time in the REET paper, there will be five options in the OMR sheet, in which there will be a provision of negative marking if the students do not answer. However, detailed information will be revealed in the notification. Players are now raising the demand for reservation in REIT. They should get relaxation in criteria.
