Chittorgarh : Those who throw stones at trains are no longer in trouble. Railways is very serious about this. Railway Protection Force (RPF) has prepared a special plan for action. Strict legal provisions have been made. Under this, stone pelting can result in punishment up to life imprisonment. After stone pelting on trains, RPF has prepared a special plan to stop such incidents. Under this, surveillance is being increased through CCTV cameras to keep an eye on trains passing through railway stations and railway tracks. This will make it easier to take action against those who commit such crimes. Apart from this, RPF has started special patrolling in stations, trains and railway areas. Special focus is being laid on mutual coordination between security forces and police, so that prompt action can be taken in case of any incident. Let us tell you, incidents of stone pelting on trains like Vande Bharat have also taken place in Chittorgarh area. In which the glass of the train was damaged.

Provisions have been made for strict punishment against those who throw stones at the railways. Under Sections 152 and 153 of the Railways Act, criminals throwing stones at trains or railway property can be punished with life imprisonment or imprisonment up to 5 years.
