IFFI proved to be an important milestone in the development of film industry in the country: Ashwini Vaishnav

New Delhi, November 20 (IANS). The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and the 18th edition of the Film Bazaar began on Wednesday in Goa.

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav welcomed the delegates from across the world at the inauguration ceremony on Wednesday. He said, “I welcome all the delegates from across the world to IFFI. IFFI has become a very important milestone in the development of the film industry in India. We are very focused on developing the content creator economy in India at this time.” More focused.”

He said that there is a very vibrant creators economy in the country, where people are coming up with very innovative content. Some of the highlights of India’s rich heritage, cuisine, culture, language and literature are being presented by content creators in very interesting ways.

The Union Minister said that with the development of technology and development of creators ecosystem, India can play a major role in the development of creators economy. He expressed hope that filmmakers, producers, sales agents etc. who have come to the film market in Goa will find new partnerships here and new ideas will be developed.
