Jaipur : JDA enforcement branch removed encroachments from the road boundary on Monday. Also, 50 bigha government land was freed from encroachment in Jaisinghpura Khor. The action against temporary encroachment on Tonk Road was started from Sawai Mansingh Hospital. Here, stairs and other constructions built outside the shops were removed from the footpath. After this, action was taken till Bangar Hospital via Narayan Singh Circle and JK Lone. 85 encroachments were removed on both sides in about three kilometer road boundary area. Many places on the road boundary were occupied by putting up iron nets and temporary tea-snack shops. In the second action, 50 bigha valuable land owned by JDA in Killangarh of Jaisinghpura Khor was freed by the enforcement branch.
Chief Controller of Enforcement Branch Mahendra Sharma said that the land mafia had illegally encroached upon government land by building slums, boundary walls, platforms and fencing. Earlier, notices were issued from the zone office.
There is encroachment in these zones too
– 20.9 hectares in Zone 11, 17.01 hectares in Zone 9, 14.6 hectares in Zone 14, 6.09 hectares in Zone 1, 5.04 hectares in Zone 7 and 2.87 hectares in Zone 2 are government land under encroachment.
-There is encroachment on 1.9 hectares of land in Zone 6 and 0.18 hectares of land in Zone 8.
-There is encroachment on 2.25 hectare of land in PRN-North I, 0.5 hectare of land in PRN-North II.
-There is encroachment on 1.02 hectare of government land in PRN-South I, and 0.069 hectare in PRN-South II.
-No encroachment has been reported on government land in Zone Three.
