Jaipur : Big news has come from the Transport Department of Rajasthan. The Transport Department of the state has extended the last date for installing HSRP i.e. High Security Registration Number Plate on vehicles before April 2019 for another 10 days. Earlier this date was 31st July but still this number plate has not been installed on a large number of vehicles. In view of this, the date has been extended. After this, if you do not get the high security plate installed on your vehicle, then you may have to pay a heavy fine. Rajasthan Transport Department has issued a big order related to high security number plate on vehicles. This is both relieving and hurtful. The Transport Department has given the last chance to get the high security plate installed on the vehicles and has extended its last date by 10 days. You have eight days left to install the new high security plate.
The transport department has extended the deadline twice
Rajasthan Transport Department started the process of accepting applications for high security number plates from December 2023. Earlier also, the date for installing these number plates has been extended twice. First this date was 29 February. Then it was extended to 30 June. Later it was extended for the second time to 31 July. But even in this time the work could not be completed.
A fine of two to five thousand rupees will be imposed
But despite all the warnings, the drivers have not taken it seriously yet. So now the Transport Department has issued this final warning. A fine of Rs 5,000 will be imposed on four-wheelers and Rs 2,000 on two-wheelers that do not get the high security plate installed by August 10. If you want to avoid the fine, then get the high security number plate installed today itself. The process of getting HSRP installed is completely online. Only authorized vehicle dealers can get it installed.
