Now preparations have been made to give the water supply to Rajasthan Water Supply and Sewerage Corporation, formed 40 years ago. These people will design the bill according to their needs and it will be ensured that water is not wasted unnecessarily. There will be a 15 percent increase in the water bill for common consumers. While preparations are being made to create a separate slab for factories and industries where a lot of water is needed. This entire process has been started from the month of July. If you do this, you will be fined 5 times
It is being told that all the water projects of Rajasthan will also come under the corporation. Engineers and other employees of the water supply department will also work under them. The government will not have direct control over them. The corporation can increase or decrease the water bills according to its own wish. They will also decide how much water is to be supplied in which areas. Currently, there are more than one crore registered water consumers in Rajasthan. This number is increasing very fast. To stop water theft and wastage of water, a fine of up to 5 times can also be imposed.
did not increase the money by 10 percent
The government had tried to implement this scheme in the year 2018 as well. At that time, preparations were made to increase the water bill by 10%. But in view of the protest, the government had to withdraw this decision. But now the government has secretly implemented it by increasing the rate by 15 percent.
