Jaipur : Names of many important places in Jaipur have been changed. This decision was taken in the general meeting of Jaipur Heritage Municipal Corporation chaired by Mayor Kusum Yadav on Friday. During this period, a total of 13 proposals have been passed unanimously. In which a decision has also been taken to change the names of five roads and buildings.
The names of these streets and places of the city were changed
1. The name of the road from Panch Batti Circle to Singhdwar has been changed to Mata Lilavati Marg.
2. Chandpole Circle has been renamed as Maharishi Valmiki Circle. Now a 21 feet high statue of Maharishi Valmiki will be installed on this circle.
3.Zanana Hospital has been renamed as Mata Yashoda Hospital.
4. The name of the road from No. 4 Dispensary to NBC Hasanpur has been changed to Haripura Marg.
5. The building located at Parmanand Park in Ward 77 has been named Shri Gulabchand Navariya Bhawan.
Apart from this, a proposal has been passed to open a dispensary and Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra at the corporation headquarters for sanitation workers. Also, a proposal has been passed to renovate the buildings of the schools run by the Municipal Corporation Heritage Area and to restart mid-day meals for the children of all the schools of the Heritage Area through the Education Department.
To further improve the cleanliness system of Jaipur, a proposal has been passed to appoint temporary employees and before Diwali, a proposal has been passed to install 30 new lights in each ward of Municipal Corporation Heritage. During this, local MP Manju Sharma, MLA Gopal Sharma and all the councilors were present in the meeting.
