Important news for tourists visiting Sariska and Ranthambore, they will not be able to see the tiger, know the reason

Sawai Madhopur : Park visits and tourism activities have been closed for three months from today in Ranthambore National Park main zones (one to five) and Sariska Tiger Reserve. Now both the tiger reserves will open on October 1. Every year the Tiger Reserve is closed for three months during the rainy season due to bad roads due to rain in the monsoon season and breeding time of tigers and other wild animals. One zone is kept open for tourists in Sariska during the closure. In this zone, tourists can go from Sadar Gate to Pandupol. At the same time, tourism activities will continue in Ranthambore’s outer zone (6) as well.

Safari closed in main zones of Ranthambore

Safari has been closed in the main zones (one to five) of Ranthambore National Park from today. However, on the last day of the park tour, tourists who visited zone three in both the shifts got to see tigress T-124 i.e. Riddhi with her cubs. Wildlife photographer Vijay Singh Meena said that in the evening shift, tigress Riddhi was first seen near the hunting lodge with her cubs. Forest officials said that tourism will remain closed for three months in the main zone of Ranthambore. But tourism activities will continue in the outer zones (6 to 10) of Ranthambore even during the rainy season. However, in case of excessive rain during the rainy season and the roads getting badly damaged, the forest department can ban safari in the outer zones as well, keeping in view the safety of tourists.

Sariska is also closed for 3 months

Here, Sariska Tiger Reserve will be closed for tourists for three months from July 1. During this period, the movement of tourists will be restricted. Sariska Tiger Reserve is closed every year from July 1 to September 30 during the rainy season. However, Bala Quila area will remain open for tourist safari. Ranger Santosh Kumar said that wildlife breeds in the rainy season. Plants and vegetation also grow in this season. It is closed for three months so that wildlife does not face any disturbance due to tourist vehicles. One zone is kept open for tourists during the closure. In this, tourists can go from Tahla and Sadar Gate to Pandupul.
