In Ajmer, a youth poured petrol on e-Mitra’s shop and set it on fire, causing loss worth lakhs.

Ajmer News Desk: A case of setting fire to an e-Mitra shop by pouring petrol in Derathun of Ajmer district has come to light. The window was broken and petrol was poured inside. On receiving information, the owner reached the spot and controlled the fire. There has been a loss of about Rs 1.5 to 2 lakh in the fire. A complaint has been given to Sadar police station in this matter.

Surendra Vaishnav, a resident of Derathun, told that he had gone to the Pushkar wedding along with his family. At around 11.30 pm, information was received that the shop was on fire. When I came I saw that the back window was broken. Unknown people poured about four-five liters of petrol on it and set it on fire. The AC, TV, furniture, shutters and glass gates installed in the office were burnt to ashes due to the flames of fire. The villagers tried hard to control the fire by breaking the shutters late in the night. After the information, Nasirabad Sadar police station inspected the spot.
