According to Kishangarhbas police, the brother of the deceased woman has complained to the police that his cousin was married to a boy named Harish, a resident of Deeg area of ​​​​Bharatpur, in March 2023. In the marriage, the girl’s family gave more dowry than their status. But even after that, the people of the in-laws’ house kept harassing his sister.

Demand for 5 lakh rupees and expensive car

It is alleged that the woman’s husband Harish and his family members used to beat her cousin and harass her for dowry. The in-laws would ask her to give them 5 lakh rupees and an expensive car. At first, the woman did not tell this to her family and kept tolerating everything. But then one day the woman told this to her family members.

Threatened by making obscene video

In a complaint to the police, the woman’s brother has said that his sister was threatened by her in-laws to make an obscene video and make it viral on social media. Hurt by this, his sister committed suicide by hanging herself in the kitchen.

The suicide note found near the deceased woman says that I am giving up my life. My in-laws beat me up and drove me away. My in-laws also made dirty videos of me. Even my mother did not have the capacity to keep me. May God not do to anyone what he did to me.
