Banswara News Desk: An innocent brother and sister playing in the field were bitten by a snake. When the family members doing farming work nearby saw the snake passing, they picked up both the children and ran to the hospital. Meanwhile, the brother died on the way, while the sister died during treatment in the hospital.
The matter is of Goda village of Sajjangarh police station area of Banswara. The deceased include farmer Mohan’s son Akash (10 months) and Hana (6 years).
Sajjangarh police station officer Nagendra Singh said- Mohan had gone to work in the fields with his wife and two children in the morning. Before starting the work, the husband and wife made the children sit on a mat spread at a place in the field. Both the children were playing with each other and both the parents got busy working in the fields.
Within some time, the snake passed by both of them. He first bit the girl Hana on her hand, then bit Akash and started leaving. When the girl screamed, both father and mother came running and saw the snake going away from there.
The family took him to Sajjangarh Hospital for immediate treatment. But Akash died on the way. After treatment from Sajjangarh, Hana was referred to Banswara MG Hospital, where she died during treatment.
