Barmer News Desk: An elderly man sitting on the roadside near Saranu on Sindhari Road in Sadar police station area of Barmer was crushed by an uncontrolled luxury car. The accident was so severe that the car dragged the old man for about 20 to 25 feet. The old man died in a tragic accident. Sadar Police Station Officer Satyaprakash Vishroi said that a 65-year-old elderly resident of Ghazikhan, Saranu, who was sitting on the roadside in Golai near Saranu village on Sindhari Road in Barmer, was crushed by a car. This resulted in death. After the accident, the driver ran away from the spot with the car. The crowd gathered at the spot caught him at a short distance. Based on the report of the relatives of the deceased, the police have registered a case against the driver Narpat Singh, resident of Kudla, on charges of causing an accident by rash and negligent driving. Also, the police got the post-mortem of the deceased’s body done by the medical board.
Bike lost control due to animal coming, rider dies
A bike rider died after an animal came on the road near the Medical College of Rural Police Station area on Jaisalmer Road. Police said that Tilok Singh (31), son of Modsingh, resident of Mahabar Pithal, was coming from Shiv to Barmer on a bike. On the way, the bike went out of control due to the sudden appearance of an animal on the road. Died after falling on his head. The police got the post-mortem of the body done by the medical board. Registered the case and started investigation.
