In Bundi, 80 percent school question papers will be kept in police stations, protest against fee increase.

Bundi : Bundi Education Department has started preparations to conduct state common examination by removing the district common examination scheme. The entire arrangement for examinations from 9th to 12th is being done from the state level, for which the timetable for half-yearly examinations has also been released by the Education Department. At the same time, the increase in fees for question papers under the state level common examination is being widely opposed by non-government schools, due to which the education department is repeatedly changing the last dates for submission of fees.

According to the information, till last year, under the District Common Examination Scheme from class 9th to 12th, question papers for half-yearly and annual examinations were prepared and distributed to government and non-government schools through the District Education Officers. As soon as the BJP government comes to power in the state, in order to bring confidentiality, transparency and uniformity in the examination system, the Education Department, in a new experiment, has decided to conduct the examinations from class 9th to 12th from the academic session 2024-25 under the State Honor Examination Scheme. The fee for question papers for half-yearly/annual examinations has been increased from Rs 10 to Rs 20 per student, which non-government school operators are opposing.
