Barmer : A constable posted in the city’s Kotwali police station has shamed the khaki uniform. A case of gangrape of a minor has been registered in the women’s police station against the constable and four other miscreants. Seeing the seriousness of the case, the SP has put the constable on line duty. According to the report given in the women’s police station, apart from the accused constable Narendra Kumar, a case of gangrape has been registered against Bhomaram son of Bhagwanaram resident Chainpura, Kailash son of Dhudaram Dhorimanna, Sunil son of Babulal and Jagdish.
The minor was lured and tempted into the trap. The minor’s mother told in the report that the teenager was preparing for competitive exams while living in Barmer city. Five months ago, the accused Bhomaram sent messages on social media and lured and talked to her. Then he lured the minor into his trap.
Gang rape, video also viral on social media
In the first week of February, she was called to a rented house in Laxminagar, Barmer. Constable Narendra, Kailash and Bhomaram gang-raped her at knife point. The accused also exploited her several times by threatening to make the video of the incident viral. Once they even took her to Rajkot in Gujarat.
