Sri Ganganagar : In Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan, a 15-year-old boy was beaten so badly for a dispute of just ₹500 that he died. The family members are shedding tears. Last night he went with one of his friends to a boy from another village to collect a loan of ₹500. The police of Sadar police station of Sri Ganganagar district is investigating the incident. It is being told that seeing the friend being beaten, his friends fled from the spot. The Sadar police station investigating the case said that Gori alias Arjun, who lives in 9Z village, had gone somewhere with his friend last night. When the family asked, he said that he would return soon. After some time, the police received a call from the family that a boy has been admitted to the hospital, when the family reached there, it was their son Arjun Singh.
A boy died because of 500 rupees
Jaswant Singh, father of the victim Arjun Singh, told the police that his son had just left saying that he was returning. He did not know for what purpose he was going. On the basis of initial investigation, the police came to know that Arjun Singh’s friend had lent ₹500 to one of his friends living in a nearby village. Arjun Singh’s friend had been trying for a long time to get the money back. Meanwhile, last night there was so much dispute over ₹500 that Arjun Singh was murdered.
Sri Ganganagar district police registered a murder case
Today afternoon, the police have registered a case of murder in this matter. Some accused have been named. After post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the family. Police said that there were serious injury marks on Arjun Singh’s body. Many bones were broken.
