Jaipur : When cow will be removed from the animal list and given the status of mother of the nation and state, then every cow devotee will jump with joy. This address was given by Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda at Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium on Friday. Cow flag movement program was organized in the stadium to give mother cow the status of mother of the nation and state.
A large number of cow devotees, saints and Jaipur residents gathered in the programme. Everyone unanimously talked about giving the cow the status of state and then the mother of the nation. Tarachand Kothari, co-in-charge of the yatra, said that Swami Avimukteshwaranand, Saint Gopalmani, MLA Balmukundacharya, Saint Prakashdas and other saint mahatmas participated in the program.
Cow has a place in the constitution too
Shankaracharya said that cow has been given a place in the scriptures, Vedas and Puranas and even in the Constitution of the country. It is said in the Constitution that cows should be protected and should not be slaughtered and sold. On the contrary, today licenses are being given to cutters. The government does not consider cow as a mother, that is why cows are being slaughtered in the country. We do not want gold, silver, rupees, money grants etc. from the government. Accept the one whom you call mother as your mother. We just want that cow should be declared the state mother in Rajasthan on the lines of Maharashtra. For this, 31 MLAs have written a letter to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma demanding this. State President of Bharatiya Cow Kranti Manch, Tarachand Kothari said that a large number of cow lovers participated.
Everyone’s aim is only to give cow the status of mother of the state and nation.
Sant Prakash Das told that yatras are being organized for this across the country, in which there are many devotees who are doing the yatra in obeisance. Also, many are not even wearing shoes and slippers. The aim of all is to give the indigenous breed of cows the status of mother of the state and nation. Tarachand said that in this regard support has been received from 23 assembly MLAs of Rajasthan. In Sanatan Dharma, cow has been glorified in all the religious scriptures including Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas.
It is noteworthy that under the Cow Pratishtha Movement, the Cow Flag Establishment Bharat Yatra is to be held from 22nd September to 26th October, which will reach the capitals of 36 states. Passing through East, West, South and North, it will conclude in Delhi on 26th October.
