Jaipur : The team of Anti Gangster Task Force Police Headquarters in Rajasthan has taken a major action and arrested three more accused of the much talked about Devi Ram Mullaka murder case that took place 3 years ago in Kaman police station area of Deeg district. A reward of Rs 25,000 each has been announced by SP Deeg on all three accused. Out of the thirteen accused who were absconding for 3 years, seven have been caught by AGTF in the last 10 days and handed over to Kaman Police. Additional Director General of Police Anti Gangster Task Force and Crime Dinesh MN said that under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General of Police Yogesh Yadav and under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police AGTF Vidya Prakash, a team of ASI Shailendra Kumar Sharma, Head Constable Madanlal Sharma and Constable Brijesh Kumar Sharma has been sent to Bharatpur Range to gather intelligence about wanted criminals and gangsters.
Criminal with reward of 25 thousand arrested
ADG MN said that on the information received by the team on Saturday, in coordination with SP Deeg Rajesh Meena and with the help of SHO Kaman Manish Sharma and his team, the accused Banwari Gurjar, Rameshwar Gurjar and Bhagat Singh Gurjar, who were carrying a bounty of Rs 25,000 each, were arrested from Kaman town. MN said that on the morning of June 11, 2021, Devi Ram Gurjar, a resident of Mullaka, who had left for Kaman on a bike to do shopping, was attacked by 20-22 persons of Ramavatar party of the same village with iron rods and sticks due to an old rivalry and came back to the village firing in the air thinking him to be dead. Firing was also done in the village. In which three children and four others were injured. Seriously injured Devi Lal died before Mahua while being brought to Jaipur.
In this case, the police station had earlier arrested eight persons. 13 accused were absconding since the incident. A reward of Rs 25,000 each was announced on them. In this case, the AGTF detained accused Ram Avtar Gurjar from Palwal and Bablu Gurjar from Thana Khoh on 26 June and Balraj Gurjar and Ramprasad Gurjar from near Kaithwada on 4 July. Within just 10 days, the AGTF has caught seven absconding accused in the incident.
