Jaipur : Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has claimed that he will make Rajasthan’s National Highway Network like the American Highway Network in the next two years. There is huge potential in road infrastructure here. For this, we are also working on the financial model. Investors should also come forward to contribute to such networks. Gadkari was speaking at the Investment Summit at JECC. He has also expressed his intention to run flash charging based electric buses on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. He said that for the first time in the country, buses will operate in Nagpur on the new technology model. There will be overhead flash charger at the bus stop and the bus will be charged in just half a minute. During this, Gadkari announced 9 800 km long projects costing Rs 30 thousand crore for Rajasthan. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also addressed. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Premchand Bairwa, Minister Jogaram Patel, NHAI Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav were also present.
Give 40 percent land to farmers, build new Jaipur
Gadkari said that if the Northern Ring Road is built in Jaipur, the price of land will also increase. Give 40 percent developed land to farmers as compensation. Develop new Jaipur in collaboration with Jaipur Development Authority.
Formula given to make the state self-reliant
Plant sugar beet, make ethanol: Gadkari told CM to focus on making ethanol. Plant sugar beets in Ganganagar and make ethanol from it instead of sugar. There are two direct benefits from this – one, cheap fuel will be available for vehicles and second, farmers will be prosperous. Use technology for the benefit of people. Also make an air strip on the expressway: Gadkari said that 9 greenfield expressways are being built, make them along with air strips. You can also fly interstate planes from here. Railway gates are closed when trains arrive, similar arrangements can be made for plane takeoff and landing on expressways. Now such planes are being made which can also land in water.
