Sri Ganganagar : Sri Ganganagar Police of Rajasthan has carried out a major operation on Friday night. Police raided a hotel and arrested three girls and three boys on charges of prostitution. Police has also recovered thousands of rupees from them. At present, police is interrogating them.
Complaint of prostitution in hotel
According to the information received from the police, the police had been receiving complaints of immoral activities in the hotel located in the urban area for a long time. To verify these complaints, the police sent a bogus customer. When it was confirmed, the police team reached the spot and carried out the action. This action was taken under the direction of Additional SP City Aditya. Apart from the three girls, the police have arrested three youths Gurman Singh, Vicky Monga and Shivraj Singh. About 24 thousand rupees have also been recovered from them.
Case registered under PITA Act
When the police took this action, there was a stir in the area. However, local people say that there are many other hotels in the area where such activities are going on. At present, the police have registered a case under the PITA Act and started investigation. The accused will be presented in the court. Let us tell you that after taking such action, the police arrest the accused either on charges of disturbing the peace or under the PITA Act. After being arrested for disturbing the peace, the accused are released within 24 hours. Whereas in case of arrest under the PITA Act, the court itself decides to send them to jail.

This type of business is currently going on in many districts of Rajasthan. Where sex business is done in the name of hotels or spas. Such illegal work is especially carried out in crowded or student residential areas.
