In this district of Rajasthan, an owl was sacrificed due to superstition, know the matter

Udaipur : People do all sorts of things for tantric practices. Some sacrifice goats, some sacrifice chickens. A case of sacrificing an owl in the name of superstition has come to light in Udaipur, Rajasthan. On receiving a complaint about the use of owls in tantric practices, Animal Protection Society President Dr Mala reached the spot and rescued an owl named Sridhara.

Use of owl in Tantra Vidya

Animal Protection Society, Udaipur’s president Dr Mala Mattha received a complaint about an owl named Shridhara in Kachba village Devdo ka Guda near Gogunda. Kesar Singh Devda told on phone that a family in his village is using Shridhara owl in tantric rituals. For the last three days, Shridhara was being made a victim of superstition. Animal Protection Society immediately took cognizance of the matter. The team that reached the spot found one of Shridhara’s wings cut. From which blood was flowing. On this, Dr Mala Mattha and Kamlesh Teli from the team rescued Shridhara.

Actions of the accused family

After this, he was admitted to Udaipur, where he is being treated. At the same time, legal action is being taken against the family who used the owl in tantric rituals. The Animal Protection Organization has advised people to stay away from such superstitions.
