Indefinite protest against corruption in Sriganganagar Anupgarh

Sriganganagar : Indefinite dharna of villagers in front of Panchayat Samiti, Ghadsana today, demanding investigation into corruption in MNREGA works, PM Awas Yojana and other works in Gram Panchayat 3/4 SM (Deshli) of Ghadsana Panchayat Samiti of Anupgarh district. Continues on day 15 also.

The villagers sitting on the protest said that the protest has been going on for 15 consecutive days during the winter season, but neither the district administration nor the Chief Minister’s office has listened to their complaint. He told that a memorandum has been sent to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma demanding that he should take cognizance of this corruption case and start an impartial investigation by a high level committee constituted by the district administration into the corruption in the implementation of various schemes in the Gram Panchayat area and arrest the culprits. Action should be taken against. The villagers have informed the government through a memorandum that if the case is not investigated impartially and action is not taken against the culprits, the villagers will be forced to start a fast.

Let us tell you that the villagers have directly accused Sarpanch Tarachand Meghwal of corruption. Despite a complaint being made to the district administration regarding this issue about a month ago, the situation remains the same. Villagers said that neither the Gharsana subdivision administration nor the Panchayat Samiti administration is taking any action on this matter.

Today, on the 15th day of the protest, Rajuram, Anju Singh Gill, Sunita, Baljinder Singh, Paramjeet Kaur, Rakesh, Jagdev Singh and other villagers have expressed their anger against the administration.
