The villagers sitting on the protest said that the protest has been going on for 15 consecutive days during the winter season, but neither the district administration nor the Chief Minister’s office has listened to their complaint. He told that a memorandum has been sent to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma demanding that he should take cognizance of this corruption case and start an impartial investigation by a high level committee constituted by the district administration into the corruption in the implementation of various schemes in the Gram Panchayat area and arrest the culprits. The villagers have informed the government through a memorandum that if the case is not investigated impartially and action is not taken against the culprits, the villagers will be forced to start a fast.
