The Meteorological Department has warned of rain in Banswara, Bundi, Baran, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sirohi and Udaipur of eastern Rajasthan today. Yellow alert of rain has been issued for these districts. Today the weather in western Rajasthan is predicted to be completely dry. Light rain was recorded at some places in the state on Saturday. Jaisalmer was the hottest city of the state. The thermometer there recorded 40.4 degrees Celsius.
