Jaipur : The capital Jaipur has been experiencing intermittent rain since Wednesday afternoon. It rained in many areas of the city after around 4 pm. It rained in many areas including Sahakarita Marg, C Scheme, Civil Lines, JLN Marg, Jagatpura, Sanganer. The Meteorological Department recorded 133 mm of rain till 7.30 am and has predicted that the rain will continue for the next 2 hours. On Wednesday afternoon, 18 mm of rain was recorded at the weather center located at Sanganer Airport. While no rain was recorded at the Collectorate. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert today as well. Here, the maximum temperature of the day was recorded at 35.5 degrees in Jaipur. After the rain, the temperature dropped by four degrees at 7 pm. The mercury reached 31 degrees at 7 pm.
Water filled in many areas
Due to continuous rain in the capital, many areas have been flooded. Many vehicles got stranded due to water accumulation under the culvert in Jagatpura area. Here, many trains were stopped before Gandhinagar Railway Station. Gomti Express train was also stopped at Khatipura station. Due to which many passengers had to face trouble.
Schools took holiday
Due to heavy rains in Jaipur since morning, holiday has been declared in many schools. A private school located in Jhotwara declared holiday in the morning itself.
