A legal awareness camp was organized today at Rajsamand : Rajsamand under the joint aegis of District Legal Services Authority and Jatan Sansthan. In PMShri Government Higher Primary School of Lawana village, District Legal Services Authority Secretary Santosh Aggarwal administered the oath to the children for prevention of child marriage. Secretary Aggarwal said that the “Child Marriage Free India” campaign was launched today by Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. On this occasion, District Legal Services Authority, Rajsamand organized an awareness camp for prevention of child marriage at every taluka level including the district headquarters and administered the oath. Also, children were told about laws related to child rights and protection, general information about the Constitution, fundamental rights and duties.
On this occasion, Ritu Sharma, Assistant LADC, gave information about the ill effects of child marriage, POCSO Act, Good Touch Bed Touch, NALSA Helpline Number, Child Helpline Number, Child Marriage Prohibition Act, Right to Education, Girl Child Safety, Self Defense. Including were motivated to stay away from drugs. Deepak Sharma, District Court Manager, PEO Bhana Rameshchandra Rana, Institution Head Sohan Lal Kumawat, Physical Teacher Manoj Hada, Kamlesh Parents including Kumawat, Ratna Joshi, Anita Gurjar, Kanhaiya Lal Kumawat, Mamta, Vinod, Tulsi Ram Kumawat, Nathulal Kumawat were present.
