Tonk News Desk: An innocent brother and sister died due to drowning in Nadi (small pond) in Palai village of Uniara police station area of Tonk district on Monday. This accident happened due to slipping while going to the fields.
There was chaos in the house after the death of both the children. After the information, the police reached the spot and with the help of the villagers took out the bodies of both. The bodies were handed over to the relatives after postmortem at 4 pm.
Uniara police station in-charge Suryabhan Singh said that the children’s father Sitaram Gurjar, a resident of Palai village, told that his wife had gone to the farm. He had also gone to graze goats. His daughter Anmol (6), son Deepak (5) did not go to school on Monday. Both of them did not go to school due to their ill health.
Accident 500 meters away from home, foot slipped on Nadi’s sail
In such a situation, both the brothers and sisters were going from home to their farm at around 12.30 noon. His foot slipped while passing through Nadi Pal, about 500 meters away from his house. Due to this both the brother and sister fell into the pond and started drowning. During this, both the brothers and sisters shouted for help, so the passers-by heard their voices and ran, but by then they drowned. Then this information was given to the police.
After the information, the police team reached the spot and with the help of the villagers took both of them out, but by then they died. During this time the family members also reached the spot after getting information. After the death of both the children, the family members are in bad condition and crying.
