Raipur, December 13 (IANS). Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai honored women entrepreneurs at a program on Thursday. In this program organized by the Urban Administration and Development Department, a large number of mothers and sisters from urban body areas across the state came, who have contributed well to the society by working as street vendors.
After the program, State Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that this program is a very important occasion, in which all those women are being honored who have contributed in bringing positive change in the society. Under the innovative scheme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, loan facility is provided without interest and without guarantee. In this scheme, the government itself gives guarantee and women who do good work get a bigger loan.
He said that this scheme has taken the form of an economic revolution in Chhattisgarh and the women of the state are not only strengthening their position through this, but are also setting a new example in the society.
On getting ‘One Nation, One Election’ approval from the Union Cabinet, he said that this is a very good step, which will prove beneficial for the development of the country. This will save time and also save money. If this scheme is implemented then it will benefit the country.
The Union Cabinet on Thursday approved the bill related to ‘One Nation, One Election’. The winter session of Parliament is going on, this bill can be introduced in Parliament in this session. According to media reports, the Union Cabinet has already approved the Ramnath Kovind Committee report on ‘One Nation, One Election’. This bill paves the way for one election in the entire country. According to sources, the central government now wants to build a consensus on the bill. The government can send it to the Joint Parliamentary Committee or JPC for detailed discussion.
