Dungarpur : Expenditure Observer Swapnil Sharad Bawkar on Monday conducted a thorough inspection of the SST check posts established at Punawada and Genji in Dungarpur district. The purpose of this inspection was to ensure security arrangements being made at these check posts during the by-elections and adherence to the guidelines of the Election Commission. Expenditure Observer Bawkar checked the preparedness of the police personnel and other employees deployed at the check posts and their adherence to the guidelines laid down by the Election Commission.
He closely observed the process of checking vehicles, identification of persons and keeping an eye on suspicious activities. During the inspection, he took stock of the alertness of the employees, effective arrangement of check posts etc. and observed the registers being maintained. Instructions were given to thoroughly check every vehicle, keep a close watch on the amount of cash, drugs, liquor and other things distributed for free and enter the number, name and phone number of the vehicle owner of every vehicle passing through the check post.
