Inspiration to save water, forests and land should come from student life itself: Om Birla

Dehradun, November 17 (IANS). Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Sunday participated as the chief guest in the annual function of a school located in Premnagar Nanda Ki Chowki, Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. He praised the presentation of the students and the work done by the school.

Chief guest Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and environmentalist Padma Bhushan Dr. Anil Joshi started the program by lighting the lamp in the school auditorium.

During this, ITBP jawans enthralled the audience with the presentation of the band. Om Birla offered flowers to the statue of the country’s first CDS General Bipin Rawat and also planted a sapling in the school premises. Along with this, he also participated in the Havan Yagya program. During this, he encouraged the students and also honored them.

The Lok Sabha Speaker said that the visit to Uttarakhand gives him a new direction to work with new energy and inspiration. Student life is the most golden period for students, where they live life and build their career along with it. He gets the opportunity to spend long hours with his friends and colleagues in school. School teachers also dedicate their lives for the better future of the students. Life is better if one starts with specific knowledge and qualities in school.

He said that the statue of CDS General Bipin Rawat located in the school inspires discipline and patriotism. Hundreds of people protecting the country, from soldiers to officers, reside on this earth and their wish is that every student studying in Dehradun should become a disciplined and patriotic youth.

Om Birla further said that Padma Shri, Padma Vibhushan Anil Joshi created a new mass movement in the country regarding environment. Students should get inspiration from childhood to save water, forest and land. Make your life environment friendly. He should try to conserve water. We are proud that the students of India have amazing capacity for knowledge, science, new ideas and research and along with this they also have spiritual energy. India, which is progressing rapidly in material resources, is today leading the world because of spirituality, religion and values. The contribution of the youth of India is important in making a developed country.

During this time he urged all the students to come to the Parliament and see the lives of the freedom fighters who participated in the freedom movement and paved the way for the building of the country. When we understand and read his philosophy of life, we will get new inspiration. Therefore, we have given a new idea that every student studying in India should come to the Parliament and learn about our democratic history. India is leading the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Today India is progressing in every direction. India’s confidence in the world has increased due to the leadership ability of Prime Minister Modi.
