Hanumangarh : a meeting was organized regarding implementation of budget announcements in Hanumangarh, preparation of programs to be organized in the district on completion of one year of state government, timely disposal of complaints of Sampark Portal and progress of Manas Abhiyan. In the meeting, District Collector Kanaram directed the Medical Department to issue advisory regarding preparations for Air Quality Index, Romeo Squad and programs to be organized on completion of one year of government.
Patients admitted in de-addiction centers will get training
The District Collector said that 680 drug addicts admitted in 17 de-addiction centers of the district will be given skill training to connect them with the mainstream, keep them busy, develop skills and ensure economic self-reliance. After skill training, their tendency to quit drug addiction will increase and employment opportunities will be created through skill development. The Collector said that QR codes containing e-oath of drug-freedom should be pasted and slogans should be written on sports stadiums, fair price shops, schools and e-mitras.
Thousands of youth of the district took an oath not to take drugs. Reviewing the Manas campaign, the District Collector said that there is positivity against drug addiction in the district and change will also come gradually. Deputy Director of Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Surendra Kumar Poonia said that till now more than 76,251 people in the district have taken the e-oath of not taking drugs. Every day more than 1200 youth are taking oath not to take drugs. The District Collector said that e-oath should be administered to more and more youth and participation of more and more students should be ensured in the poetry and slogan writing activities organized in schools this month.
